Sports Relief

On the last day of term the whole school arrived in their favourite sport’s clothes, ready to race their mile, especially to raise money for Sport Relief.  The school changed from its usual bold blue colour to an array of multi coloured scenes!

Throughout the day, each class paired up with another to go outside and complete their mile.  Due to a very muddy and wet field, the children completed their challenge on the playground      instead, making their way around both the KS1 and KS2 areas.  Some decided to run, some walk and some even continued to do more than a mile just because they were enjoying it so much!

It was truly wonderful to see the whole school participate in such a worthy fundraising event.  Every single child from Foundation to Year 6 completed their mile and helped to change the lives of so many people in Africa and the UK. Please continue to send in any outstanding                sponsor money and we will announce a total in a few weeks time.

Well done!
